What We Do
Make Your Mark
Monitoring & Surveillance Unit
The main purpose of this work is to collect information about major pests and diseases as well as to monitor its prevalence and incidence in an area.
Pest and Disease Diagnosis Unit
With the center’s mission always in mind, we strive to find new strategies for dealing with pest and disease identification and management. Accuracy on pest and disease diagnosis is something that we take very seriously. You can always reach us to learn more about our commitment to this cause.
Research and Extension Unit
At DA RCPC 4 CALABARZON, we are dedicated to stepping up our efforts in addressing farmers or Agriculture practitioners on new or updated technology on pest and disease management. Crop protection is by no means an easy feat, but through extension and research empowerment we believe we can facilitate progress. We are always striving to reach out and invite you to learn more and lend your support.
Biocontrol Agent Production Unit
One of our mission is the development of biological components for sustainable and environmentally compatible pest and disease management. We do mass productions of Metarhizium sp., Trichoderma sp., Trichogramma sp., and earwigs.
